Closing Air Registers Will Cost You More Money

If you close the register in a specific room it will cause that room to heat up causing the unit to work harder to cool not only the room but the items within the room. Units are designed for so much airflow and if you cut it off it causes the unit to work harder pushing all that air through the other ducts, etc.
